Dr Turvill has been working with the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, to facilitate the implementation of the York Faecal Calprotectin Care by CCGs in the region.

In this video he discusses the evidence accumulated to devise the care pathway. In addition, he describes the results of a pilot study and how primary care will be using the care pathway to distinguish IBS from IBD for improved clinical and cost effectiveness.
