The IBDoc is a calprotectin test that you can complete in the privacy of your own home with results available the same day.
Collect a stool sample in the normal way but instead of putting it into a pot to send to the laboratory, you sample with a picker and put it into some buffer to extract the calprotectin.
Once ready you apply some of the buffer to the lateral flow cassette (just like a COVID test) and start the timer in the App on your smartphone. When the timer is done the result is ready using your smartphone.
