Professor Tim James, Head Biomedical Scientist for Clinical Biochemistry at Oxford University Hospitals and UKAS assessor, outlines the approaches to method verification and validation in the context of ISO 15189. Professor James plays a key role in the development of standardisation across Faecal Immunochemical testing and Faecal Calprotectin testing. This was presented at the Digestive Diseases Day in Birmingham, on the 15th November 2017.
